scientist day

Thursday the 7th of september 2011 we had a scintenst Day and we did experiments they was 7. the first one my group had was staitic electriccity with a helper mr.barnes . staitic electricity was about rub a ballon on something and go on top of a little thing then the ballon word pick up the little thing if out touching it . my 2 faivrites was bubble drink and goo . bubble drink was about bubble in a orange juice we sques a orange and it will make a oraenge juice and mix it with soda they was littele bit of bubble we drank it and it was discasting . the goo was about puting some cornflower then mix it with water and it word be hard but whan you lift it up it will go light flew you finges . the scientist day was fun .

monday,s excursion

On Monday the 30th of may we went on a excursion to beenleigh historical vilage and when we got there we went to black smith. They told us about whet black smiths do. We saw a knife and next we went to a place that teach you to cut tree,s like the old days. They use to have a saw and there was two handles and the twe people pushed and pulled on the tree . My favourite place at the historical village was Radaks cottage 1870. At thet cottase they showed the old houses and the man at the cottage showed us how they washed clothes. first you put the clothes in boiled water next you scrub the clothe,s on the board and next you rinse the clothes and put in the ringer and puse the handle .After that put the clothes on the washingline and wait for the clothes to dry. The excursion was fun.

Healthy me

I learnt that healthy exercise and heathy food is good for you because they fight
the illnesses. You grow tall and you get energy.

On Monday 21 of March We Went to Ngutana - LuI cultural centre atInala. We lernt how to throw a boomerang and all about plants and anImals. It was fun becuse we did many actuivities.

Apples Ain't apples

On February 24th Amy From Brisbane markets came to talk to us sne snowed us some unusual vegtables and we ate some aPples. we learnt how apples come from orchards and end up in our homes.
